Parking is available at the Capitol parking garage (we believe it is free on the weekend).
Please do not bring long guns or openly carry on the Capitol grounds, however if you have your CHL you are permitted to carry. CHL holders can carry inside the Capitol - in case you need to go inside for the facilities. - The Capitol Police have asked people to not bring their long guns to the event, there is another event on the South steps that day and we don't want to alarm anyone.
Signs are welcome, please remember to have positive, family friendly messages.

They were asked to go to the front and face the crowd. We had been close to them and since my sign ALSO said, “2A shall not be infringed” he said to me, this is the “not infringed area” and I said I think the whole crowd is too!
The other side of my sign said,
“The Constitution says NO! Dec 15, 1791. “
Hubby carried the Come and take it flag with traditional cannon. (saw many with the cannon replaced with AK47.
Marine son carried the Marine Flag. Helped us keep up with each other. And Jerry Patterson likes to see a marine flag out in the crowd.
