All you need to know about NY is that the urban areas over power the rest of the state. The RNC want to play nice nice with the dems and allows redistricting to squeeze out solid conservatives. One trip to NYC and you know this state is lost. There is nothing left to fight for. The dems crush liberty and the GOP caves at the slightest pressure. The state government is corrupt. They consistently legislate against the people. They all hide behind their walls of safety.
I think the latest Cuomo move will end up with a lesson in the law of unintended consequences. I am not sure what it is but I can be safe in saying it will not be the safe place he claims he is making. As for me, I am working to jump ship. Think of it as a personal scuttling of the state. This place is making me physically ill.
For the same reason they have homosexual pseudo marriages. It was forced upon them against their will. This is what happens when leftists rule.
NYC has so many flaming commies, the place is like a huge rats nest. Upstate tried to separate from the state because it had no say, and it almost worked, until the Jewish in NYC wanted their own state because of their religious beliefs.
Personally, I believe the Jewish did that to defeat the proposal, because NYC Jews vote democrat. NYC welfare needs our money.
