So very true. My OBGYN had me convinced my daughter had Down’s Syndrome. I delivered a healthy baby, with no health issues besides GERD, 3 months ago.
Yep, doctors are just people and they DO NOT know as much as they think they do.

With babies, GERD isn’t a disease; it’s what babies do for the first 6 months of so. Keeping the epiglottis closed so that stomach content doesn’t come up (baby spit-up) is a learned action, not one you start out with.

Happened to my best bud and his wife, docs told them their second child had downs and recommended abortion. Thank God he is a strong believer of Jesus, and said no. They had a beautiful healthy strong little girl.
This story just doesn’t seem right to me, maybe I’m just suspicious of everything these days, but it seems pretty severe to be going along then all of a sudden want to die because you might go blind.
