Ok, I don’t have an idea what it is then. Please explain so I know, would you? I have a prospective tenant who has Section 8.
You would think that they would kick them out of the Section 8 program if they were bad.
Just wait until you have to work with the Section 8 authority to get rid of “bad” renters. Then, you will know what happens in the real world.
I’ve seen it happen many, many times and some friends who made the mistake of renting section 8 don’t do that any more since they learned the hard way.
First of all you have to realize that by far, the majority of section 8 renters begin “bad.” They are lazy criminals ripping off taxpayers like myself and others simply because they can. From that point on, law, morals, integrity, and the whole host of words that denote responsibility don’t mean anything.
Through my lifetime I have had times (with a family) that I was “dirt poor” but never took any charity or money from anyone, including the government. I simply put my head down and found work to support them. Believe me, it’s out there.
Section 8 people don’t claim any responsibility for the fact that they are in the situation they find themselves.
