When Illinois' new General Assembly takes the oath of office Wednesday, the state that's still struggling to rebuild its image after two consecutive governors went to prison will set yet another precedent of sorts: Three sitting lawmakers facing criminal charges.

My thinking to. Law enforcement must be pretty lax there.
Common denominators: Black, Chicago, Democrats.
They could be convicted child molesters and the idiot voters in Chicago would re-elect them based solely on race and party affiliation. It’s difficult to defeat the Dems when they get 99% of the votes from a group that votes robotically for corrupt politicians who promise to keep the goodies coming.
Illinois...where the politicians make your license plates.
“....keep the goodies coming.” There is the key...something for nothing.
Compared to some parts of Illinois that may indicate that the criminal element is still under-represented in the state legislature.

Blacks, the 95% making the decent 5% look bad! They even “re-elected” a guy who was thrown out by the House membership last year! Shades of Adam Clayton Powell.
