Ummm, there are many online databases of sexual convicts... and there isn’t enough room in ANY daily-printed periodical to print all the names of either list.
Newspapers wrap stories around ads... that’s why your Sunday paper is heavier and has more pages. More ads - more news... Space is a ratio... It’s something like 60 - 40 or 70 - 30 ... I knew once - don’t anymore... Almost unlimited ‘news’ could be printed - but not at a profit.
In a responsible paper ads determine the number of pages. Have you noticed how ‘light’ a Saturday paper can be? It’s not that there’s less news...
My local paper made a point of NOT printing names and addresses of pedophiles because they feared for their safety. It was some years back - but I’m pretty sure I’ve got the gist of what they were saying.
To be fair, they also have not printed names and addresses of gun owners either - much to their credit...
