Under Sharia Law Matthew, Mark, Luke and John wont be “on a list approved by the government” in this country...
For Icelanders it is about preserving their unique ancient culture and language, not so much about government "control" of the people. Related: they don't use English words for new things like computer or tissue. They have a committee that creates Icelandic language words for these new things.
Again, not about control of the people, it's about preserving their language and culture.
