India paying welfare directly, aiming to end fraud
Associated Press ^ | Jan 1, 2013 7:51 PM EST | Muneeza Naqvi

India will pay billions of dollars in social welfare money directly to its poor under a new program that aims to cut out the middlemen blamed for the massive fraud that plagues the system.

Previously, officials only handed out cash to the poor after taking a cut—if they didn't keep all of it for themselves—and were known to enroll fake recipients or register unqualified people. The program inaugurated Tuesday would see welfare money directly deposited into recipients’ bank accounts and require them to prove their identity with biometric data, such as fingerprints or retina scans. …

The program is loosely based on Brazil’s widely praised Bolsa Familia program, which has helped lift more than 19 million people out of poverty since 2003. It will begin in 20 of the country’s 640 districts Tuesday, affecting more than 200,000 recipients, and will be progressively rolled out in other areas in the coming months, (Finance Minister P.) Chidambaram said Monday. The country has 440 million people living below the poverty line. …

India is in the process of creating a biometric database (iris scans) for all 1.3 billion of its citizens.

That’s nothing, our welfare payments originate in China.

The process to convert the sweat of communist economic slaves into Pall Malls and Air Jordans for democratic voters is more circuitous one than even Little Lord Krugman could describe with a bottomless pot of ink.

“666 doesn’t mean anything to Indians. It’s just a number.”

Oh, of course. Satan quashes the Gospel wherever he can.

Most of the people of the Earth will think it is a “good thing” (when it comes). Easy transactions, security from fraud, etc.

But there are a few, very few, but some in India who study Bible Prophecy regularly. Perhaps they will warn others.

I agree 100%. Something akin to this should also be instituted for voter ID in the US to counter the rampant vote fraud the Democrats wage—increasingly successfully. If “backward” countries such as Mexico and India can do biometrics to prevent fraud, surely the US could. And I would defy any liberal to attempt to claim that their precious “disadvantaged” don’t have biometric markers and thus any such biometric scheme would be voter suppression.

And as a bible believing Christian, I say that anyone claiming that this would represent the “mark of the beast” is either being silly or is a troll for the Democratic Underground.

“Oh, of course. Satan quashes the Gospel wherever he can.”

That sounds like Satan is more omnipotent then God. Not sure Satan is squashing anything, Indians just follow a different path.

India for a long time barely had any form of photo identification for most of her people. And if people give up on welfare to stay away from 999 that’s fine too. Although I am yet to see anyone in US give up on welfare for fear of Satan.

Satan is the god of this world, temporarily, but for the past thousands of years.

2nd Corinthians 4:3-4.

“Indians just follow a different path”

There is not a different path if you are a Christian. There is the Gospel and the rejection of the Gospel.

Everyone on Earth much choose one or the other.

John 3:17-18 make that patently clear.

Most of the world, overwhelmingly, rejects this Bible doctrine.

Which puts me in the minority. That’s OK. Been there for a long time with it.

“...include what you believe the mark would be” Well, it sure wouldn’t be any biometric markers that have been imprinted upon me by God (e.g., fingerprints, retina patterns) and his nature. I see nothing wrong with my identity being positively confirmed by such god given markers which are unique to each individual person.

As to your 2nd paranoid illusion/question—I can assure you that I am neither from the fictional desert planet Arrakis nor am I a muslim.

I can only go by what the Scripture says.

“I don’t accept or reject the Gospel.”

Well, it actually comes down to one accepting it. By not accepting, rejection is the default.

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John%203:17-18&version=KJV

John 3:17-18

King James Version (KJV)

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John%208:23-24&version=KJV

John 8:23-24

King James Version (KJV)

23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

“And I don’t believe Satan rules the world but to each his/ her own.”

I invite you to see what the Scripture says, if you’re so inclined. Granted, that requires belief in it.

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2corinthians%204:3-4&version=KJV

2 Corinthians 4:3-4

King James Version (KJV)

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Satan is also called the prince of this world, by Jesus Himself:

John 12:31
Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

John 14:30
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

John 16:11
Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

You initiated the conversation with remarks regarding 666, which is from (at least by my post) the Book of Revelation in the Bible.

My response was regarding Scripture. I can only post what the Scripture says. If someone doesn’t want it, it’s OK by me to skip over.

BG would be totally wasted on me; as apparently the Bible is wasted on you.

So here we will part ways. I can see you’re fairly new so you probably don’t know this is common for me, here at FR.

The only remark I made was the 666 makes no sense to an Indian. It wasn’t really an invitation for a rapid fire round of Biblical passages.

And I already know the BG would be wasted on you but I didn’t quite get why you persisted with your Biblical salvo. And while it might be common for you, I just think its silly.

If you truly believed in the “666” (Hindu numerals,LOL) hoopla, you’d just about now gather every government-endorsed document in your possession linking your name to it, make a pile of it all, and set it on fire.

That means all property deeds, passports, identification documents, financial instruments bearing your name, credit cards, debit cards, tax receipts, social security cards, birth certificates, etc. until you are free from the government controlling any aspect of your life through means other than nameless paper or coin currency.

Until you do that, you are a mere screaming hypocrite. The “Beast” already has you ID’d but you just haven’t realised it yet.

No, you are quite mistaken. 666 has not come yet.

The real 666 is that of pledging allegiance to the Beast by taking his Mark. Most people skip over Revelation 14 where there is an angel warning against it when it happens.

However, you *are* correct that the United States has already substantial I.D. on most Americans.

We just don’t have mandatory retina and fingerprint scans for welfare, like they are implementing in India.

Yet.

How does one escape being ID’d in America? It’s impossible. Which leads to the conclusion that ALL Americans are already ID’d, if they are American citizens.

So, the “mark” has been accepted, and is required for any assistance / facilitation involving the Amercan government (the “Beast”). It’s not most, it’s all.

India is still a far cry away from the surveillance / ID society that America already is. India has far fewer cops per thousand population to monitor them than America has, in the present.

“How does one escape being ID’d in America? It’s impossible.”

You are 100% correct. Unless you need a high-paying gov’t job, then an electronic “birth certificate” suffices, hehehe.

Retina scans and fingerprints are not yet part of the system. In that *one* particular area, India is leapfrogging ahead of the United States because they can get away with it. A legit system, designed for “good”, can turn to the evil when it puts the power in the hands of very few (as you already know).

BUT in the United States, absolutely, there is more info on Americans than any other country in the world, I’d imagine. Israel is very good at pre-screening airline passengers. Yes, they absolutely profile.

All of these systems *will* make it easier for the Antichrist when he comes. He will make it so no one, or essentially no one, can buy or sell.

The most likely way, imho, of doing this is by making food / water / paychecks all electronic requiring credit / debit cards, perhaps eye scans / fingerprints for ID verification, and/or possibly an implantable chip to minimize stolen identity.

We are rushing headlong towards those days.

Absolutely.

What is so special about a retina scan that makes it qualitatively different from any other ID? An Indian citizen has better chances of going through life without needing any ID than an American citizen. Biometrics or not, the system has all Americans tagged like cattle, de facto. And Americans gulped it down without as much as a whimper.

You can forget your I.D., lose it, have it stolen, damaged.

But for most people, except those horribly injured, a retina scan is a unique I.D. “fingerprint” you carry with you everywhere you go, 24 hours per day. Much like fingerprints, again except for people who have been terribly injured.

Try leaving home without it.

And unlike a PIN, it won’t be forgotten.

It’s probably coming here. And Australia, too. And everywhere else.

You still have to renew your ID if you lose it, to continue living as before. You can’t expect to be totally disconnected from the system before agents are out to get you.

It is impossible to live an ID-less life in America. The system has enough data about you, your ancestors, your bosses, your neighbours to trace back your identity, regardless.
