Hillary’s father died from a stroke so I would wager the initial incident was a stroke, not a concussion.

A brain concussion is also possible. Clue ~ she's not taking her glucophage for her diabetes. That stuff patches up motor neurons and keeps you walking.

sometimes a clot will form in the leg if someone has been inactive for awhile.

Something doesn’t pass the smell test here.
When I had a DVT I was in the hospital on a heparin drip for 5 days. I couldn’t get out of bed even to use the bathroom!
And clots are nasty. You don’t mess with them. There’s a hereditary condition known as Factor V Lieden that makes you a very big risk for blood clots—I found out I had it the hard way. My sister and I both have it. I was fortunate that I didn’t take birth control but she had to give herself Lovenox (blood thinner) shots all during her pregnancy. Factor V is a clotting factor (think opposite of hemophilia) and it’s not a routine test.

Funny that you mentioned the “r” word. I was just having what I thought was a reasonable discussion with a leftist on fb (I know, a “reasonable discussion” with a leftist is impossible!!) and right away I and anyone who opposed zero was labeled a racist. Yes sitting a lot (airline seats?) is an issue for those affected. I had a biz colleague who was prohibited from flights > 1 hour because of clots.
If she’s done, I’ll put my flag back up on the pole and at full staff, at least for a couple of days.
I believe that is how actress Natasha Richardson also died. She fell and hit her head on a ski slope, ended up dying a little while later from a blood clot. She was young when she died.
I don’t pretend to diagnose her problem and the legitimacy of it all. I do believe that neither Party actually works for the interests of most Americans, or the USA.

Monday is 4 hours away, NY time. The facts aren’t adding up.

Sounds to me like after the word leaded out about her goint to the Dominican Republic she decided she had better lay low for a while longer.

my mother and I are prone to clots. Always have to keep moving.
If someone “did” have a concussion - it is possible inactivity could contribute to a clot.

We are dead on the money. And those four are just dead, plus the injured, some of them severely.
As it is, while I don't wish the woman dead, if it happen I'm just presuming that a piece of the brimstone broke off and became lodged in her arteries.
AM talk radio host in our city bumped head on an overhead object in his garage. Thought nothing of it. Weeks later went on overseas trip with listeners. Returned to air and experienced garbled speech on air. Taken immediately to ER. Subdural hematoma which had formed very slowly over several weeks. Hospitalized for several days followed by observation and limited activity for several weeks. Full recovery.

My dad once set out a large tray of Warfarin for this big mama rat. She ate at least three trays full before she quit. Never did find her. Did have a smell from under the house later.
Or they could hook up her IV to wall suction.
Haven’t seen any mention of Chelsea and Bill being by her side.
Sorry, Natasha didn’t die the same day she fell, but her condition became critical that day. She died two days later.

While I wouldn’t celebrate, I wouldn’t be sad or give it much thought. However, if a fortunate situation were to occur further up the food chain, I would have to struggle with not setting off fireworks.

I think the same thing, the clot came before the fall, not after. They don’t want to admit it because it would spoil their plans for 2016.
She flies a lot too.
I don’t think that she’s going to die. I think that this is just the beginning a long decline that could take up to thirty years.
