America needs major tax cuts if the economy is to ever reverse its downwards plunge (and jobs again for people who want to work). If all the Repubs do is sit around and let obama raise taxes, then we need new Repubs.

IMO, the brand is too tarnished. Too many GOP elites are saying that Boehner’s staying as speaker, too.

The GOP never joined the battle. To quote Joe Biden (even a blind squirrel finds an occasional nut): “Half the time, in this last debate, I didn’t know whether or not Gov. Romney was there to debate Barack Obama or endorse Barack Obama.” We have a choice between Bolsheviks and Mensheviks.

What he really means is:

“Pants Down to the President; BOHICA”

Yep, the GOP surrendered pre-emptively

Their performance has been laughable. These guys are losers, pathetic losers.

Graham said. “He stood his ground.

Should and when Boehner caves, it won't be said of the GOP or the RNC. Standing their ground apparently a big problem for them, one that surely will get uglier when their donors and number of registered voters refuse to commit to a wishy-washy spineless political party run by people who have lost their conservative compass.

Yes it is. But here’s the thing. Remember that 90s drug war commercial where the dad finds pot in his kids room?

It reminds me of the situation here.

Ss” “Why did you compromise and let Obama get his way yet again? This id going to total the economy!!!” (said while pointing to the cave in on the fiscal cliff)

GOP: “I learned it by watching you, alright?” (Said while pointing to the 2012 election where the GOP ‘base’ compromised everything they believed in to vote for a lifetime liberal.)

Truth hurts.

More like BOWCGIASE (although that isn’t as catchy).

“Secession looks like a better and better option daily.” I agree, to me it looks better every nano second. Biggest trajedy in our history, the Union won.

One more in your corner.

While secession is an attractive idea in theory, it would be damn near impossible to achieve, if not sustain.

Speaking for myself, it would be a more effective effort to defend our own freedoms personally and expatriate while we still can. The rot of liberalism/socialism is far too widespread, and the further putrification of this once great country is beyond the point of return with the ever-growing spread of the entitlement and handout parasites that will continue to vote with their dependency.

Looks like an attempt to make Obama own it.

Not going to happen though. In true liberal fashion he'll take credit for any and all real or imagined benefits and deny any responsibility for the unintended consequences.

While I agree I have had a hard time of finding elsewhere to live.

No where to go that isn’t worse off or 2 years behind us. Accept the fact that we are in for the Road Warrior Scenario.

It will collapse into chaos globally. Survivors, if any, can try again. If anyone can explain any other outcome based on events on the ground, let’s hear it. But I think people better lose the rose colored glasses quick.

Because there really is no other choice.

America decided it wants communism and islamization. So has most other countries. This is a fact as we see both growing daily. To deny it is useless.

Those two things are incompatible with each other and both are incompatible with freedom. The inevitable outcome is war. History has shown this all before. And it will happen again. It always does.

No one wants to talk about it, let alone admit it. But logically, it CANNOT be denied.

“He stood his ground. He’s going to get tax-rate increases.”

That means he owns the results. I'm sick of this game. Let the POS own it. It's all going to come crashing down at some point anyway. On another note, to his credit, Graham did say he owns an assult rifle and will vote against Feinstein's bill.

Where was Obama during the eleven or more hours of the Benghazi attack events? Don't let media change the subject!

"No, RINO Linda Graham; it’s not that the POTUS stood his ground but that the GOP-e didn’t stand theirs and caved instead. "

Same news, different day. You can always count on the Republicans to roll over. Gutless wonders.

Go over the cliff and make it a swan dive Ms. Graham! At least you wioll look good for the bend-over-boys surrounding Obama.

Let Obama start his 2nd term with a recessionary economy.

I can hardly think of a better cheerleader (snort!) than Lindsey Graham for the GOP's suicide.

Republicans can now have the honor of being blamed for both raising taxes AND pushing granny off a cliff (with make-believe "spending cuts") while the rats get to confiscate yet MORE money from productive, taxpaying, traditional American families ("Republicans") so they can use it to continue buying the votes of their growing moocher base.

That's some great work right there, GOP.

"NOW, you're negotiating!"
