Thanks for that info, Fishtalk. Maybe she said guard, not armed guard....but you see how I interpreted that? I assumed armed, regardless of what she said.....I’m sure I wasn’t alone.
I think she did say "armed guard". I also believe the guard at Columbine was on break and too far away to hit anything with a pistol.
