RE: Obama on MTP
Friday, Obama gave a presser speech regarding the fiscal cliff.
I watched via CNN. After O spoke, the camera went back to Candy Crowley, a male commentator, and female reporter at the WH.
Crowley was actually giggling when talking about what Obama said. Her implication was that what Obama said was unrealistic and naive. She went to break.
After the break, still talking about Obama’s brief speech, all three (Crowley, male commentator, female reporter) were giggling and laughing as they talked about what Obama said.
They must opened the New Year’s ‘bubbly’ early. I just couldn’t see CNN commentators overtly giggling and laughing at Obama, but maybe, even they were not impressed by The One’s spiel.
BS! Boner has the New Media to make his case. The problem is he’s so wishy-washy/indecisive he has no case to make.

Lindsey Graham - on fiscal cliff. Thinks deal in the next day/two is exceedingly good......but the president wins on this deal. We’ll raise taxes, won’t do anything to deal with the defecit.
Feinstein - brings up those who will lose unemployment. (Hey, DiFi- I’m tired to carrying their load!)
Wallace asks about the tax rates - the 250 K...is that acceptable? Graham says we’re not going to extend all the tax cuts even though the economy is even weaker today than in 2010.....go figure. Graham thinks the 400/500K will work.
Feinstein says the 250K is the right number. Talks about all the “fixes” that need to be done (AMT, etc.)
