Ms. Soto, a teacher murdered by the animal, had time to get a gun from the safe and put herself into position to plug the shooter.
What if a krazy kid takes your gun from the desk. You trust all the students to have access to your gun on or in the desk?
Sorry, I didn’t mean to rain on anyone’s parade.
I was saying that if a madman comes into a school with a gun ready to rock, teachers with a gun had better be ready to roll and I’m not sure if having a gun in a safe will get it done.
I’m impressed with Ms. Soto’s actions but doubt that she’s the norm although I note that though “she put herself into position to plug the shooter,” she was the one who got plugged instead of having the time to aim and shoot first.
