During the l950's the Quaker Oats "Aunt Jemima" logo came under criticism by liberals that it was outdated and that it was a negative "kitcheny" portrayal of African-American women.
By 1989, the trademark portrait had been gradually modernized and today the bandana on the head is gone, and the " servant woman in the kitchen" appearance is gone with it.

I might have already written this - I'm still sleepy.
Someone contact George Noory from Coast to Coast. The Afrisquach needs to be discussed - kind of like the lizard aliens and Chubracabre (sic).
