The bottom line is, when it comes time to cut “entitlements”, and you look at Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Food stamps, etc., and whatever popular programs have been in place for years; do you cut them, or the most recent untested and unpopular one, Obamacare. Because we know the ever-expanding welfare state is unsustainable, and you first have to drop the program that makes the least number of beneficiaries unhappy.

I cancelled my health care insurance for next year.

I couldn't continue to pay the huge monthly premiums, and also attempt to access healthcare providers.
Most people without medical insurance get free medical care from the ER room.
If I show up at the ER, I am just a financial cash cow, not a “real” patient.

Stop the madness!

They will cut Social Security and Medicare but leave Medicaid and food stamps. Can’t upset zero’s biggest voter block.
