So let me understand! Your litmus test for a Presidential Candidate is that he or she is opposed to Gay Marriage, is that it? So we can go down the tubes as a nation, but you will be damned if a couple of queers can get married! No wonder the country is in the mess that it’s in.
My litmus test is a candidate who doesn’t pander to the Gay lobby and insist that conservatives must accept homosexuality in order to ‘get with’ the times.
If I wanted that, I’d just vote Nancy Pelosi every election.
For what it’s worth, that tends to reflect my view. It’s like a final nail in the coffin. If fag-marriage is imposed on my state by the courts, I’d just as soon see the whole country crash and burn to oblivion. It’s a point which tells me the moral/cultural rot of the nation has rendered it no longer worthy of even trying to salvage.
