The GOP/GOPe haven’t identified their targets well, then, have they. Personally, I am fond of the briar patch, can SCUBA dive, and have alternate plans.
You get these people out of the city, and they go to pieces.

NY is foreign territory to most of the US, face it. Then again, most large urban area are to some extent or other.
