Boehner is scared to death of Dec. 31 coming with no deal. Why he is scared is of no consequence, it is what it is. He goes to Pres and gives in to “x”, Pres says no. Boehner goes back again and this time adds “x” to give up. Pres says no. Boehner will keep going back giving up something else and finally when he has nothing else to give as Pres now has it all, Pres will say OK.
We need a different speaker just so we don’t have to look at a crying Boehner.

We weaker GOP caucus in the House and more liberal Senate in January. PLUS the media has already pre-blamed the GOP for any failure. So even though many Democrats would like to go over the cliff, Boehner does not want to do so.
