Now SOMEone explain to me how a black clothed (I'm told) troubled child got weapons enough and 60 rounds (and times 11 = over 200) into a building, stayed long enough to accomplish 20 some murders ( actually, every bullet can be defined as a seperate murder ... ) and kill himself before anyone can ..
Oh yeah ...
Connecticut ...
un-armed.
It was an elementary school....not many male teachers in those locales
even if and when mental illness is ‘addressed properly’ things like this will still happen.... evil is still evil and the ONLY way to address that is with a spiritual solution which the mental health system does not recognize
and think back to when you were in elementary school how many male teachers did you have? I had one and he taught 6th grade all the rest were females. This is not new it has been true for as long as the US has had school houses. It was a respectable profession for a single female to go into.
The killer was a psycho. No one with an ounce of sanity could even imagine such an atrocity.
Not that I disagree, but how do you propose that to be initiated and enforced?
Six and seven year olds are in First Grade, not Kindergarten.
This morning it was reported that the killer’s mother did not teach there, as was reported all day yesterday. She was retired and served as a substitute.
They are still reporting that two hand guns and a rifle were used. The rifle was never brought into the school.
Did the pathetic media get ANYTHING right?
The rifle was used, because according to the coroner, the kids were all shot with the .223 Bushmaster.
not many men go into elementary education as teachers, because the colleges encourage men to be in grades 5 - 12 (Middle school and secondary Education). Keep in mind this elementary school was Grades K- 4.
Remember when going to college and seeking school certification - discouraged because adult male whom served in military, disabled and in a wheelchair. encouraged to become a counselor/social worker. became a social worker and a pastor. the wheelchair never hindered me from counseling. but it was a problem in the church.
“It’s been said all the employees at the school are women.”
So why is it that no one questioned this ‘man’ coming in?
That poor kid. So sweet.
oh but it can’t......anymore than legislation can be passed to make people obey the law. That is the point. So many of these so called laws do nothing but fill up paper.
Yes society has a right to protect itself from someone who has already committed a crime, that is what prison is for. You cannot protect yourself from those who do evil except to the extent that one is spiritually fit and ready to do that type of warfare. No law will
And I didn’t answer the initiated part...sorry for that. The truth is that with out a full out revival and return to the God of our father’s none of this will change. I tend to think that we may well be in the end times or at least very close to it. I believe that things are going to get much worse before they get any better
As long as man rules the world there will be disease, sickness, crime and corruption. We who advocate for a healthy, civil society can only mitigate the bad to the best of our ability. We will never attain utopia.
I don’t disagree.....free will allows all of us to make decisions that ultimately are very human and not very Godly
Peace, my heart, let the time for the parting be sweet.
Let it not be a death but completeness.
Let love melt into memory and pain into songs.
Let the flight through the sky end in the folding of the wings
over the nest.
Let the last touch of your hands be gentle like the flower of the
night.
Stand still, O Beautiful End, for a moment, and say your last
words in silence.
I bow to you and hold up my lamp to light you on your way

Male elementary school teachers are rare.
When men go into teaching they tend to choose middle school or specialize in a subject for high school
