One news outlet [don’t know which one] the reporter said *This is price we pay for freedom.*
This is going to be one long drawn out nightmare....the speculation is thick on the channels now.
Not sure if this is what you heard, but a guest on Fox was talking earlier about the lack of complete full-time security lock-down of schools (not bemoaning it...just commenting on it)...and then he said something to the effect, "but that is the price we pay (i.e. the risk we take) for being free."
Again, might not be the same guy, but the guy I heard was extolling the virtues of freedom...not criticizing them.
How many people die of AIDS each year compared to this?
Why then, can't we curb homosexual behaviour?

That's the price paid for *SEXUAL* freedom: and innocent people have had their lives ruined or taken by STDs -- spouses, children, blood transfusion recipients of tainted blood.
