As the daughter of a now deceased Ford Motor Company Skilled trade worker from the 60’s and 70’s, he would be MORTIFIED to see the way the union behaved in Lansing today. In his last years of working he always said the union was only there to protect the lazy man. How right he was.

My own favorite quote about this type of union is along the lines of “once upon a time, Union ideals were there to ensure good work, now they’re there to protect bad work (or more appropriately, NO work)”
