Mold Milwaukee and Schlitz. Can’t believe they have survived. Luv Sam Adams beers, especially the Cherry Wheat.
If I had to choose one beer for the rest of my life (although I do not understand anyone who sticks to only one by choice) - it would be Boston Lager by Sam Adams.
My uncle used to drive a delivery truck for Schlitz.
Do your own DD...but PBR in a bottle is getting competitive with Bud in a lot of âsmall local barsâ...sometimes referred to as âdivesâ in the good olâ days!
Schlitz, for years America’s best-selling beer, went out of existence around 1980. The Schlitz sold now is just the name, not the same company or recipe. It’s like Grain Belt in that regard.
I used to drink Milwaukee’s Best Light by the truckload in college.
I stopped. Now, its sales are down noticeably.
Coincidence? I think not. I’s like to apologize to all of the employees. :-)
Schlitz, after a long decline, death, and absence from the market brought about by a change in recipe in the late 1960s, is now back on the market brewed to the original recipe. As a drinker of microbrews, who lived in Germany for several years, I know beer - and the new Schlitz is pretty good, especially on a hot day by the pool.
Original Miller is fantastic when you get it fresh. It is too often spoiled in the clear bottle.
Cherry Wheat is good? I never tried it- i dont like to think of beer with desert toppings in it
