He had a public AND a private (no audio) swearing in the first time. Much speculation about it then, but not from the press. Maybe they are a little more curious this time around, some of them having had four years of education, if only by osmosis. Many people on the thread mentioning being sworn in with a Koran, but no one has mentioned the possibility of Obama needing to swear in using a different name--- which was one speculation the first time.
Justice Roberts provided cover the first go around because of the (pre-planned) flubbing of Obama’s name and Obama’s recitation thereof.
The same excuse won’t fly this time around...
