It seems like all the mainstream media political analyst's are saying the Republicans MUST reach a deal or they will pay some terrible political price. All the polls show that the public will blame them...etc.

My question is, Exactly what would that price be? There isn't an election for two more years so they can't be removed from office. If recent history is any example, the American voters memories are about one month long. After 3 and 1/2 awful years of Obama, they were swayed by a month or two of good economic data into voting for him again. So I'd say the Republican risk very little...

Negotiating with O is like playing football against a team that is allowed to do
whatever they want for the first half, and you can’t be on the field.

He starts with a population who pays no taxes, and then plays the other 48%
against the top 2 who pay the bulk of taxes anyway....

He’s ahead by 4-5 touchdowns before the other side even receives the second
half kickoff

For what overspending by both parties to get into this situation in the first place.

Or, what else ... An Obama 2nd term, Dem congress. We already have that....
