This crap is blowing my mind. As a retired military veteran, I sat on several courts-martial trials. I can assure you that if this was Sergeant Joe Blow on trial for murder and he refused to shave as per regulation, his sorry ass would be clean shaven every damn day, willingly or unwillingly.
And furthermore to add to post 16, he would be in full dress uniform when in the courtroom.
If I’m correct, doesn’t he maintain his pay as a major until he’s convicted? If so, isn’t he still subject to UCMJ? If so, slam him with article 15’s every time they can for violating military grooming stands. It’s a small thing, but drip him of half his pay and demote him every time they do it
