You know as someone who is Married to a Palestinian in think I have the Pull say that this bid for Statehood is nothing but Posturing Crap!

How many of these countries will help the People with setting Up food? Bring in Supplies? Establish Trade? Train Troops?

Building a Nation isn't easy and now the Leaders of these nations can say "I helped the Palestinians" when they are looking for something eat after Israel has to carpet bomb the whole place.

Also aren't Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru and Palau Untied States Territories? So only Canada, Panama and The Czechs decided to stand with Israel?

SCREW THE UN!

I just googled it, and the Marshall Islands & Micronesia achieved independence and self-government in 1979, and full sovereignty in 1986. Palau followed in 1994. Under some agreement they signed with the U.S., we continue to provide military defense for these countries because they have no military of their own. Nauru achieved independence from the United Kingdom and became a sovereign, independent republic in 1968. Probably why those countries have membership in the UN, whereas, say Guam and Northern Mariana Islands -- both United States Territories -- do not, because their Commonwealths are not independent.

But bottom line, yeah, a couple of tiny island nations with close relations with the U.S. were the only ones on "our side" besides Canada, Panama, and the Czechs. I'm surprised not even Slovakia and Poland sided with us on this one. Panama was a surprise though.
