People told us that this time. So where's our Senate majority? We had 20 vulnerable Dems up for relection, and instead they posted gains at our expense.
And they gained five House seats (or more d/o appeals and challenges and recounts yet to come).

Bad candidates
Here is the problem.
Republicans will not stand up on their hind legs and FIGHT for what they believe in. When the media lashes out and spanks mitt romney as rich man who dont care about the poor. there was no rebuttal, romney didnt hit back. The attacks on Bain went unanswered, there was no mention of Fast and Furious or Bengazi.
I voted in this election yes.
But the Republicans need a candidate to stand up and BOLDLY voice a defense of conservatism. The people will vote for a strong candidate who will LEAD. Not another jelly spined liberal collapsing every time harry reid threatens him with a rhetorical whip. Not another RINO compromising to the left every time the media demands it. We need a candidate who will shut down the government when the democrats demand compromise, and then simply not restart portions of the government when they finally do get back to work. The people will vote for someone that believes in his own positions enough to DEMAND answers, and give simple one sentence responses to the media attacks. The democrats are fighting a political WAR... and the republicans are still acting like there’s negotiation room. When you find a candidate like this then you’ll find be in the voting booth for him or her.
Otherwise, it’s probably better to let this country slide into the arms of the communists. Because the people of this country will NEVER understand the danger they’re in, until they can feel the water boiling. So it’s time to turn up the heat.
