I suppose that Egypt will accuse Israel of some strange infraction of the peace treaty and use that as an excuse to attack Israel.

And if Egypt attacks Israel alone (Jordan and Syria have their own problems now). The conflict will be short and Egypt will lose. Perhaps Israel should retake Gaza and go all the way to the East side of the Nile.
