If the property is private, they have no right to fly a drone over it.
What is the difference between this and spying on nude sunbathers with a drone?
It is invasion of privacy.....but liberals have no respect for privacy unless it can be used to further their pet causes.
I was wondering about that, too. You have no right to tresspass on the shooting club’s property. If your fancy toy gets shot, who cares.
The corrupt/criminal EPA once told me (2003, IIRC) that the airspace over my Family Farm and all of the CONUS, and the minerals in the ground, were theirs. The haughty/arrogant ACoE also told me that they own ALL water rights in the 50 (or is it 57?) states. I told them both, GFYs! That was a mistake; the harassment began shortly, thereafter.
“If the property is private, they have no right to fly a drone over it.”
Au contraire. You own your property, but the airspace above it is probably open to the public.
It’s a stupid situation, but that’s the way it is unless someone can change the laws. I doubt that will happen though, since it might get in the way of the gubmint spying on you and I with their drones.
