Christians in America have no idea what it means to be truly persecuted for one's faith. To them, a friendly, "Season's Greetings!" = hate for Christianity & all it stands for.
It’s crazy. But think the real problem is that they really WANT to be persecuted. Which is why they take every possible slight and blow it up. I’ve got a co-worker with the same problem though not relating to religion, everything bad that happens in her life is a personal affront. Slow traffic exists just to be in her way, bad waiters singled her out for bad service, she even complains about the ringer on her cellphone. Some people just really want the world to be lined up against them.
