moral relativism and liberal pretzel logic.

only 50-60 years ago, nuclear family great, kids were a normal outcome of sex, perverts were jailed, animals were pets or on your plate by God’s grace. if you wanted to fool around you paid for your own birth control b/c it was your responsibility for exercising that liberty. and this wasn’t consider just christian thinking, it was inherent common sense for most people across all demographics.

since then the secular experts have abandoned God, and are’going it alone. and the best they come up with is gay parents are better in part b/c no kids, dads aren’t needed anymore, whatever you do if you care about the earth and the rest of us, don’t have kids, and don’t eat animals, but you can screw them. save the planet, abort your baby is their battle cry. and we expect the rest of you to pay for our abortions and contraceptives, we’re morally superior’to you now, don’t you know? we’re saving the planet!

the one thing i’ve prayed for and known I’d have from God saving me , is a sound mind, a mind that can see clearly what is going on around me and know wht’s right from what isn’t. today we’ve fallen so far from just a short time ago, it aparently does take a rocket scientist to know what even secular common sense agreed with God’s word, only 60 years ago.

Yep. Our culture was rooted in Judeo-Christian beliefs. Long after many folks stopped believing in Christ, they still believed in and generally followed His teachings. When I was young, many unbelieving parents even sent their children to church. Our cultural engine had run out of steam by that point, but it was still coasting.

Most people today are simply ignorant about Christ. They wrongly believe Christ (and Christian morality) is a prison, when they themselves are the ones enslaved by their own base human instincts. Even if one doesn’t believe in Christ, they will generally lead a healthier, happier life if they follow Christ’s precepts. Like you wrote, this used to be consider common sense.
