It will be dangerous if they do this. Black Friday is crazy anyhow. People will just kick in the doors and raid the store if there are no workers. Chaos, mass chaos and I think that’s what the union wants. The unions really must be stopped.

Here’s hoping all the participants in this gag lose their jobs, and get replaced by people who appreciate being employed.

I will definitely be at Wal-Mart on Black Friday. Anything I can do to put union goons out of business, I’m there. I can think of approx. $100. worth of stuff I need that I can buy at Wally World just as easily as anywhere else. This union crap merely makes the decision FOR me.

I never go shopping after Thanksgiving. I guess it’s never too late. I’ll go to WalMart and buy something.

The local Wal-mart is where the white trash take their kids to discipline them. I don’t shop there. The union thing isn’t enough to make me change my mind.

OMG I worked for 25 years for Walgreens we were open 365 days a year I worked many holidays ...... I am sorry they are a bunch of babies hundreds of thousands of people out of work and these cry babies are complaining. Cops, Firemen, Nurses, Doctors, Pilots, Flight attendants, movie places and the list goes on of people who work holidays. The union thugs need to mind their own business. Walmart has the right to run their business as they see fit I am really sick of cry babies.

And let’s not forget the unions causing the terminal closing of Hostess foods (twinkies, et al)... teamsters agreed to new terms, baker’s union refused new terms, cuts, saying they’d rather see the company close (15000 jobs lost) than work under proposed wage/pension cuts. Unions are poison, they will destroy this country, with Obama’s blessings. “Workers of the world unite”, equals destruction of all country’s economies.

So they’re going to boycott stores that employ people who are most likely overwhelmingly Obama voters? A bunch of brain surgeons these leftists are.

Tempting as it might be, I won’t be going to Walmart in response. The greater good is served by remaining at Galt’s Gulch. I almost wonder if we’ll start seeing “boycotts” from the Left as head-fakes to try to get us spending again.

I never shop on Black Friday - rarely leave the house, too much mayhem. But this year I may run down to the local Wal-Mart and buy a box or two of ammo.

Wal-Mart & Target are also taking heat from people like me for opening on Thanksgiving...let the employees be with their families for gosh sake! I am definitely not into the whole Black Friday thing, I stay as far away as possible from any retail areas on the Friday, Sat, & Sunday after Thanksgiving.

Why don’t we just call its “Reds Friday”. Workers of the world strike, and lose the few remaining jobs left out there.

Brilliant!

well, Wal-mart should close for Black Friday then and put big posters and flyers that say "Look at the deals you could have had at Wal-mart! But, the union guys (Mr. xxx, Mr. xxx -- who can be contacted at dumbum@dum.com) decided that this should be denied to you. If you have any grievance, please take it up with them. Apologies for not being able to serve you"

with the discounts, perhaps wal-mart would actually save money? I don't understand the economics of black friday -- perhaps its volumes that make up for the lower profits?
