The worst cases are gynecological cancers, experts say, because usually such a cancer has already spread by the time it is detected. That's what happens when you eliminate diagnostic tests (Pap smears, mammograms) to save money, and when the system "treats" all menstrual dysfunction or other reproductive-system problems with birth control pills.

That is exactly right. The Government Guidelines have already been issued to the health insurance companies. No mammograms until age 50. No Pap smears after age 65 unless you have ‘symptoms’ . The reason women over age 65 survive Gyn cancers is because cancer cells shed well before there are obvious symptoms. Once post menopausal bleeding is noticed, the cancer is usually pretty well advanced. But once you are past the age of paying into the Nationalized Healthcare system, you are expendable. Sometimes a Death Panel isn't even needed to ‘reduce’ the number of people that need healthcare. Remember what Pelosi said. ‘Americans over age 55 use entirely too much of our healthcare resources’. But you are right, those in power get healthcare no matter their advancing age.
