Anybody who has ever raised a kid knows how this works...you can tell them til your blue in the face about how bad the consequences will be if they make bad choices, but in the end they always seem to have to learn it the hard way.

BTW my dad didn't believe in that telling you not to do stuff. He said do it and see what happens. The new lawn mower’s muffler had bubbled paint as he had just finished running it the first time. I had never seen this before. “Hey is it hot?”, “touch it and see”. Wow it sure was hot and the blister on my finger reminded me to never do that again. Tough love. LOL
