During a discussion on Monday, NBC's Today show crew could barely contain their enthusiasm at the prospect of Hillary Clinton running for president again in 2016, with new third-hour co-host Willie Geist proclaiming: "Can you think of a more qualified human being? She lived in the White House for eight years with another President, she was a United States senator, and now she's got every world leader on speed dial, so there'd be no questions about her qualifications."
Early in the conversation, Geist touted how "there are already polls out in Iowa, she's got 58% of the vote for 2016" and argued her run was "inevitable." Fellow co-host Savannah Guthrie thought Clinton could definitely be persuaded: "...if the head of the party comes to her in two years, if everybody comes around and says, 'You've got to do it, you could be the first female president,' I think it would be hard for her to say no."
Newsreader Natalie Morales added: "Are we ready for a female president? I think most of America probably is."
Geist concluded: "It's just a question of if she wants to run or not." Weatherman Al Roker gushed over Bill Clinton being back on the campaign trail as well: "And her significant other, too. It would be kind of fun, too....Have him on the stump." Geist replied: "Imagine the excitement?" Roker remarked: "Oh, man. Wow." Morales wondered: "Who has the bigger spotlight, that's for sure, right?"
On September 10, following the Republican and Democratic conventions, correspondent Andrea Mitchell appeared on Today to start off media rooting for Hillary: "She says she has no plans to run, but if she did, some say she would clear the field." Mitchell offered a similar report on Clinton the day after the election as well.
Amid all the excitement on Monday for the Secretary of State running for president, no one mentioned her role in the failures surrounding the terrorist attack in Libya and how that might be a stumbling block in any future political plans.

I would start with Peewee Herman.
I’d rather chug ipecac.
How do we know she’s qualified? She shredded the records of half of what she’s done, and can’t remember most of the rest of it.
Most Red State phonebooks are full of more qualified candidates.
Never heard of Willie Giest but I suspect I knew his sister, Poltergeist, just a wisp of a young thing.
To #5: Your description of Hillary sounds like that of my car, except that my car still runs reasonably well and has never voted for a Democrat.
I would never vote for her, but I would be hard-pressed to find someone more qualified and more experienced than Hillary Clinton.
What I don’t get is that if the media is so in love the Clintons then why did they throw her under the bus in ‘08?
At least 200 million of them.
All Americans. Most of them straight. Some are female.
I mean really female.
WXIX Anchor Tricia Macke Apologizes For Calling Rachel Maddow an angry young man
WXIX anchor Tricia Macke has issued an apology for calling MSNBCs Rachel Maddow an angry young man. In a statement on the stations Facebook page, Macke said her comments were insensitive and inappropriate.
I apologize to Ms. Maddow and any others who may have been offended by my comments, as they do not reflect my firm beliefs in individual and equal rights, and they certainly did not represent the opinions or position of my employer WXIX-TV, Macke wrote.
GLAAD called on Macke Friday to apologize for her remarks about Maddow, which were made on her personal Facebook page October 12.
WXIX, the Fox affiliate in Cincinnati, said they had received several expressions of concern about Mackes remarks, adding, We also apologize to anyone who may have been offended by her comments.
Tricia Macke is a FOX. Rachel Maddow is ... I’m not really sure but Laz won’t hit it.
There is a difference!
Maddow should have been grinning from ear to ear for someone calling her an angry young man.
She tries her damndest to look like one and act like one.
It’s a lot better than what I all her.
Hey Willie, screw you:
He is sleeping it off on a park bench outside the White House.
Hillary doesn’t qualify as a human being.
I can think of more qualified fungus.
Obama resigns over whatever. Biden steps up as President and appoints Hillary as Vice President. Biden resigns over whatever. Hillary steps up as President without receiving a single vote. I believe she could fill out this term and run again....maybe twice. Can you imagine 11years of Hillary as President? Think it can’t happen? Read about President Gerald Ford and Vice President Nelson Rockefeller. I always thought the Clinton’s rolled over too easy for Obama. I think Obama was elected to get national health care through. Then, Here Comes Hillary!

Yes, any of the twenty names in the middle of the phone book.
For Goodness sakes, this woman slept with a president and has done nothing that she earned. She is a puppet just like Obama.
Not only that but I heard on local talk radio that Jeb Bush was in Iowa.
That is all we need in 2016, another Bush vs Clinton.
I can see her being the president of a ward in some female prison. She does not deserve any of the accolades she has received...where has she ever succeeded? She has only succeeded in hurting other people. She betrayed people who had helped her, and she helped destroy the women Bill Clinton was alleged to have assaulted.
palin/trump ‘16 ???
“Not only that but I heard on local talk radio that Jeb Bush was in Iowa.”
(In my thickest Boston accent) “You gotta be sh*ttin’ me!”
Although, the Nixon/Bush Effect is still in play for the GOP.
“Can you think of a more qualified human being?”
I can find plenty of them more qualified to be president, Mickey Mouse to name just one, now for some other things I can think of she is very well qualified indeed.
Here is one gentleman who would make a much better president.
