This same thing happened in Sugar Land Texas ten years ago, with Imperial Sugar world headquarters, and factory.. THe Union demanded a 17% increase and the Comp offered 9%, and told them if that wasn’t enough, that they would close.. Unionites told them to TRY..
They closed the whole damned thing down.. POOF! I live about 5 miles from there I could hear the sobs and whining from there for months, saying that this couldn’t happen.. but it did.. They’re still crying.. DON’T MESS WITH TEXAS!!! LOLOLOL
