I haven't heard many people suggest ways to overcome the difficulties this country is facing, so I'll suggest one. Instead of messages of “I'm leaving this country,” or “Obama sucks” why not get involved more within our local governments and in online forums to better convey our principles? We won't change anyone’s mind if we say they're an idiot for how they voted, no matter how much evidence we give them to the contrary. We must speak of our principles with tact and peace, never drooping to the levels of those with illegitimate arguments, or comments against the person rather than the idea. Speaking about the raw issues America is facing will help us connect better with people. I mean, what do most Americans care about? Is it not having a steady job, a hefty bank account, a safe place to raise their kids, opportunities for advancement and success? One thing this election made me realize — there is no need to wait for us to elect a politician into office for us to start seeing a better America, we have the privilege to do it today with the words we speak and the deeds we do.
And above all, we must have faith in God — He will always be bigger than our country. Thus endeth the sermon.
America’s problem is not it’s Politics...but it’s soul....
