This seems suspicious, I think there’s more than what they’re telling us. A democrat having an affair isn’t exactly a scandal. What are they actually covering up?

I suspect that Petraeus resorted to admitting an affair because the White House has been in the process of making Petraeus the scapegoat for the Benghazi screw up. His affair revelation was just his way of quitting his job as CIA director (just as Gen McCrytstal used a Rolling Stone Mag interview as a way of “losing” his hopeless job in Afghanistan).

The New York Times ran a mealy mouthed article on Nov. 3 that suggested that Petraeus was responsible for the story that the attack on the consulate was not a planned terrorist attack, but was a spontaneous response to an offensive anti-Muslim video. It also suggested that Petraeus and the CIA were primarily responsible for the decision to abandon Ambassador Stevens and the Seals. See ...

Weren’t there several high-ranking military that were hastily “dismissed” after Benghazi? Strange.
