I honestly don't think he understood the vile and viscious nature of the left. I think, like GWB, he would have tried to win them over. There is no winning them over. They are deranged people, by and large. I think he may have left office much like Bush, broken. And I certainly don't know that Ann deserved what the left would have dished her way.
We are where we are. Many should have paid closer attention to things --like who was being imported and what their children were being indoctrinated with but all that, I guess, is in hindsight.
All, I know going forward is that when the left seizes power --they don't let go. Regardless of what it takes.
Reagan was the last Republican who had zero care about how the press portrayed him. I think he enjoyed their contempt, because he gave it right back.
But the Bushes and Mitt seem to care and tried to woe them over.
If you can’t think like Reagan you are doomed to disappointment.
