My opinion of Austin is this. They have great pride in being weird and are so in great numbers. But, here’s the catch... if everyone is weird, doesn’t that become the new “normal.” It’s easy to be “weird” when everyone else is. To me, weird is different, not like everyone else.
I feel the same. I told a group of ‘tackle-box heads’ (people with more earrings, nose rings, tongue rings, etc) that they ought to wear a suit once in a while to really stand out. They looked like I threw dog poo in their face.
