I think, at the federal level, the majority of GOP politicians is in that same boat, but they view it more as a paternal duty to have a big federal government to protect the plantation.
Class warfare and contraception. A winning Democrat combination. The economy and national security be damned.

When things go bad, the end result often ends up much worse: increased power of government=less freedom.
For those of you who are calling for a collapse of the current system and then rebuild a better one, history is not on your side.
yes sad but true. there was a time when it even out because married women voted more conservative but hey who is married any more? the government has worked hard to destroy the family in order to have all the minorities and females depend on them as big daddy/husband for help. And at the same time push overly sexual behavior to insure illegitimate kids, abortion, and free birth control remain an big concern for these single females.
Those screeching, celebrating young women and blacks will soon be celebrating unemployment/inability to find jobs.
I will enjoy their downward slide, and I am not sorry to say that.
The bill for birth control is a population unable to sustain itself, and it will come due in the next 40 years.
The bill for reliance upon government as the surrogate husband (destruction of the family & true marriage) is a government and people unable to sustain themselves, and evermore devoid of tangible freedom.
It is funny democrats have been so worried about the sustainability of the environment(which is always changing anyway) while they ignore our own demographics, and the absoutly devastating effect that has on our future. I know from talking to many of them that is their plan. I guess they don’t yet graps how many problems these things are going to get and how Bad bad can get.
Leftist have always been challenged in understanding the system of interrelation of systems. Just as they have religiously refused to accept the wisdom of time(tradition) & God(bible).
The unfortunate fact is unless we find a way to cut ourselves off from them and from a new free country of patriots we will be dragged down thou theses lessiosn the hard way with them. (thanks a lot Obama voters)
