Woke up wondering the same thing. I recently enrolled back into school, haven’t started classes yet, and am now considering my options. My husband is in the coal industry and we both know it won’t be long before he is on the unemployment line. Taking on new debt is probably the stupidest thing I can do right now.
My suggestions are to stock up on food, lower any debts you may have at the moment, start or add to a nest egg and perfect your shooting abilities. Avoid unnecessary purchases and take care of your own.
Me? I’m reading. Reading, reading, reading. Learning as much as I can so I am armed with knowledge and guns when it comes time to use them both.

If you can, spend the $ and get the "whole shebang" (all the back issues bound by year). You can't learn everything but to have such a resource of things to learn is worth thousands of $. To learn skills or just look up when you need it, wonderful reading too.
