I used to think the same thing, but now I am inclined to believe that the Fed. Gov. will simply spend itself into irrelevance. When that happens the States will pickup the powers they originally gave to the Feds. Do believe there will be problems in States that cannot continue to feed and support their dependent class and maybe some limited military actions between have States and have-not States. I do agree with the Russian physicist who predicted the breakup of the US.

I am prepared to support my County and State in maintaining order and if necessary move toward independence.

The states are broke too, and dependent on Federal grants to fund basic services.
