Nope. NY is NOT in play - only the most seriously deluded thinks Romney can carry it.

Its a lock for Obama, thanks to New York City!

I believe people are going to be pleasantly surprised tonight! Romney is going to win states that are not traditionally won by the GOP!

No line in my voting place in a suburb of MN today. My suburb is rather purple—probably more blue than red.

There were probably about 5 old people voting and about 4 moms , and two guys dressed like deer hunters, when I was there.

Hard to believe NY would be in play, but one thing is clear: Obama enthusiasm is just not there.

Hard to tell if these people will actually be switching to Romney... We will see tonight. But Obama margin will definitely be way down from 2008.

In 2008, it was a pro-Obama frenzy. In 2012? None of that. Not a single pro-Obama sign, button or bumper sticker.

Unlikely NY in play...too many Obama-bots in & around NYC. However, a good indicator this may be an @$$-whipping for Bathhouse Barry, The Gaffe-O-Matic (Biden), and Dingy Harry’s Senate ‘RATS.

Just wish we had a Ronald Reagan conservative instead of a Bob Dole country clubber on the ballot. Rep. Ryan as running mate makes it a bit more palatable, like Gov. Palin in 2008.

I seriously doubt that New York is in play nationally because of NYC, but high turnout in other parts of the state can definitely help us add House seats!

My Mom who is a Democrat(But hasn’t voted Dem since Bill Clinton) voted for Romney..the place was practically empty..yeah I know its CA and it will go to Obama but I dont see the enthusiasm here for Obama, not ONE sign in my area..which I know is Democrat..I saw a car with an LOL bumper sticker on it with Obama’s logo in the middle of it it was awesome to see

I think this is all over the country.

Just got off the phone with my father in South Bend, Ind. He said he’s never had to wait before but a 30 minute wait today.

His precinct generally runs 60/40 Republican.

New York to Romney? Not much chance of that. But it might be closer than expected, assuming Governor Cuomo’s last minute attempt to help the Obama campaign doesn’t achieve the wanted results.

Anyhow, if Romney wins I’ll buy the state a drink!
