There’s an apocryphal story from WW2 about the last months of the war in Japan/Germany. The way people knew the war wasn’t going like the propagandists were saying was that all the glorious heroic battles were taking place closer and closer to Berlin/Tokyo. Look at where the campaign is taking place. Look at the unemployment rate and all the econometric models for the election. Landslide, maybe not but understand where this is going.

Excellent points! I remember reading an article written by a former KGB officer. He said something very similar, only he called it reading between the lines. The truth is the truth and it is easy to be consistent while telling it. A lie however builds upon itself and twists and turns as the truth seeps out.

That it does but an amazing number of Americans have so much invested in the lie of left wing superiority that they will do anything up to and for some including suicide before they will face reality.
Some do eventually wake up though, one 85 year old bundle of white guilt that I knew was running around in 2008 saying that the ONLY people who did not support Obama were racists! This man actually thought he was the intellectual and moral superior of everyone he met but could not see the monumental absurdity of that position. He died in 2010 but by then his greatest fear was that the messiah would be reelected. He actually told me that in a group and when I reminded him that I had told him what to expect he actually claimed that he had NEVER supported Obama and had not voted for him, this from a man who never missed a chance in ‘08 to badmouth McCain and had nothing but good things to say for Obama.
I sometimes wonder if he might have lived a couple more years if he had not been stressed out by the prospect of what he had wished on America coming true. I suppose the moral is to be careful what you wish for.
