Wouldn't it be fun if Christie turns around and blasts the Federal government's response tomorrow. Two days before the election he could say Obama promised this and that and hasn't delivered. He doesn't need to go hyper-political, just give a status update saying we're still waiting on this and that and this other thing. Oh, and unfortunately we haven't seen this yet or that either. He could show Obama's incompetence without being nasty. He could say: "I talked to the President in Nevada yesterday and Ohio this morning." Make it obvious that Obama spent 90 minutes of "photo op" time in NJ and ran off, leaving everyone behind.

If Christie believes Obama's going to lose then he's no longer dependent on Obama for $B in recovery funding. A Republican House, narrowly divided Senate and Republican President will be holding his state's fate in their hands. Too much to hope for I guess.
