The election was already extended with early voting and if you didn't get a chance to vote in the early voting time, to bad.

Neither New York nor New Jersey have early (in-person) voting.

So what is going to happen when they say they were disenfranchised of their votes because of the hurricane and the election times need to be extended ?
Are they that narcissistic that the rest of the nation have to wait up for them after the rest of the nation has voted ?
