Act of War on the part of the government of Turkey?

They’re supposed to be a part of NATO. I guess that is now moot.

What would be Turkey's motive ? The Obama administration was arming the rebels in Syria, which helped Turkey. Do we know all the Turks made it out alive ?

Instead of the title, consider, is it possible Ambassador Stevens was competing with local militias to buy up and sell heavy arms to Syria via Turkey. If Turkey is the point of sale, can you afford to kill Turkey’s official...?

In other words, the terrorists that attacked there courting Turkey as that was the point of sale. And, Stevens was in a bidding war with the local militias to buy up arms in Libya.

Your a peasant in Libya, nice Mr. Stevens gave you an SA-7 shoulder launched missile. When the revolution is over and you still have an SA-7 on your shoulder you sell it to the highest bidder, it’s free market anarchy -natural law. Stevens was in a bidding war with terrorists and nobody can outspend the US Government. The bidding war became a shooting war, but the terrorist weren’t so foolish as to kill a Turk in the attack -Turkey is the point of sale.
