Oh, yeah....easy for you to say. Buckets probably grow on trees where you live. Go get water? I can’t...the streets are flooded! /s I get what yer saying, but if their sewers are full, flushing may not be possible. Still, I’m sure there are many that don’t know how the magic toilet thingie works.
The problem here isn't their overflowing toilet, it is their overflowing heads. Obama voters - no doubt.
The toilet will not flush because the sewers are full & flooded. Flushing only causes the toilet to overflow.
Beyond that, these people are pathetic. They had ample warning to evacuate or to stock up on food & water. Perhaps a few days of empty bellies will give them a clue about the next storm: You cannot stay in a house that might flood, you MUST move to higher ground & be prepared to stay there for several days.
They may not know that.
Not that easy. When the sewers get backed up where is the water going to go? That's why it overflows in the first place. Even after the water recedes the whole sewer line is likely clogged with debris. Have to do what they did in the olden days, use the bucket and pour the "night soil" out the window.
