Years ago flghts between DC/NYC were cancelled so I had to take Amtrak into NYC. Arriving at Penn Station, I found the street (33rd) closed because of glass windows that had been blown out of One Penn Plaza. Never felt comfortable in the Big Apple during windy conditions again. Imagine the threat of Sandy-high winds and all those windows 50 stories up (and higher).

No problem with that as of tomorrow. Amtrak is shutting down the east coast runs. ;-)

Remember the John Hancock tower in Boston?

"Entire 4' x 11', 500-lb (1.2 x 3.4 m, 227 kg) windowpanes detached from the building and crashed to the sidewalk hundreds of feet below. Police had to close off surrounding streets whenever winds reached 45 mph (72 km/h)."

From Wiki.

The Kenyan must go.
